This is one of those techniques that brings me so much joy and unexpected beauty. Of course there are duds too but that goes with the territory.
If you'd like to join me in my studio for a mono-printing workshop while you stay in my Airbnb shoot me an email for more details. We'll have a blast!

Inspiration is all around us. Sometimes it's outside, sometimes it's inside and sometimes it comes in the mail as 100 gel pens.

Color and Color Trends are two of my greatest passions. I love creating a moodboard to show a direction or concept one could take while developing a print collection or product line. Here are some of the tools of my trade.
I've been crazy busy here for the past 6 months. Here is a peak . . .
I've had a very productive week! Working both horizontally and vertically at the same time.
Everything you see here is a work in progress, just like life. :-) XO
No matter how hard we try to be "good", there are times when life makes it impossible. You know what I mean, right? An example from your life just popped in your head didn't it? That time when you . . .
Well those times are the inspiration behind this series and I think we can all relate. I hope you enjoy Rosemary. She is trying really hard. . . and she'd look just darling hanging on the wall.
Ever wonder how finished artwork makes its way into the world? Here is a look at the process that took place for this mixed media print on canvas.
I love the unexpected and intuitive process of painting and mixed media. I'd love to hear what you think! Leave me a comment below.
Ok I'm doing it! I have a big hole in my portfolio and if you'll look at my website you'll see it. For the next 100 days I will be experimenting with ways to fill that hole. It will be all about hand lettering.
Here's the link to my Instagram Page. I hope you'll follow me and watch the process I go through as I work my way through letters and words! It's day 18 of 100 so there is still lots to see! Here's a sneak peek. :-)
I don't know where this quote came from. I've had it stuck on my refrigerator for years, it's now pinned to the bulletin board in my studio. Thought I'd give it a go with some fancy hand lettering.
If you know the author let me know in the comments. I'd love to give credit where credit is due. Thanks!
Hey everyone, I've been out of touch for a bit. Three months without a studio while I searched, purchased and updated a fixer-upper. But I have finally moved in (as of a week ago Monday) and I am fairly settled! Here's a peek into my new work spaces. The creative juices are flowing and I'll have lots of new work shortly. Stay tuned!
